IMPORTANT message for patients of practices in Weston, Worle and outlying villages. Many of you who are over 80 have probably received a letter inviting you to book a Covid vaccination at Ashton Gate in Bristol. Please be assured that you will be invited to receive this vital vaccination at our local vaccination centre in Worle in the coming few weeks. You do NOT need to go as far afield as Ashton Gate to get immunised. We think we will have been able to invite all of our over 80 year olds by approximately 26th January so nobody will have to wait too long.
We will then move on to the other at risk categories. You can of course choose to go to Ashton Gate but we wanted to make sure you were aware that you will be offered a local option and also reassure everyone that if you choose not to go to Bristol WE WILL STILL INVITE you to our local centre! GP Surgery staff are all working hard to make sure all of our patients get a chance to get this locally.
Please spread the word that local options will be available and practices will be calling their over 80s in the next week or so... many have already been vaccinated. Thank you

North Somerset Together
North Somerset Together is an initiative to help residents who are socially isolated with no support from family or friends access the support they need during the coronavirus pandemic and beyond. It also helps those who want to volunteer to get involved to link up with the right organisations, and signposts businesses to relevant information.
More than 1,600 people have now volunteered and are helping community groups across North Somerset deliver food and medication to those who are self-isolating with no friends or family to support them. Thank you to every organisation, group and volunteer who is working in our communities to make sure the most vulnerable are kept safe and protected.
Residents and businesses can access the service at www.n-somerset.gov.uk/together.
